Do you know that FAX never have ICAO or Callsign codes (not that I know of). Sometimes I wonder that FAX presence is not for rural air service, but more to launch long haul (aka. AirAsia X). No wonder they want to give RAS back to MAS.

Their relatives:

KENCHANA

BADAK

and some scarier ones:

PEDANG TAJAM

HARIMAU

TEDUNG SELAR

BTW, PERDANA (either ONE or TWO), as well as DIRAJA depends of the passanger on board. Same with JOHOR.

mentioning callsign...

Is there any Airasia flight 47? cause it would come out at screen as AK 47... how cool is that?

it would come out as AXM on the ATC scope.

I wish more pilots would use the ICAO when flying on VATSIM instead of the IATA, it makes it that more realistic.

I always use google to find out the phonetic callsigns for certain ICAO's or IATA's. Which then usually takes me to the wikipedia site for that airline.

If I recall correctly, this callsign belongs to the airforce and normally used for the C402.

I mean on the screen for passenger in an airport... not the ATC screen... suddenly make me think the announcement for that flight will be interesting too.

So at airport the passenger will hear something like

"Calling for passengers AirAsia flights AK 47... please proceed to gate ## for boarding"

and on board.

"Welcome on board AirAsia's flights AK 47 to Afghanistan :p We are now ready for take off. Please wear your seatbelt and Please do not smoking when the light is on"
