I guess you all agree that the best TV ads on Malaysian TV always comes during this time of the year. And this is year is no exception.

 

This year Malaysia Airlines pay tribute to the former students of Kirkby College UK. For the benefits of those who are not in the country at the moment, here's the TV ad :-

The site below provides an excellent background information on Kirkby College. It's unique in the sense that it's a college set up in the UK solely for Malayan students, and the site where the late Tunku Abdul Rahman first announced the date of Malayan independence.

though mas always in the red many times, it never fail to churn out good 31st aug advertisement. proud to be malaysian, proud to have mas as my national airline.....

I just saw the ad..and I must say...it..amongst other things makes me damn proud to be a Malaysian!

The ad together with the likes of Petronas is certainly the best....everyone is talking bout it...its amazing how MAS keeps coming up with amazing ads...even in the newspaper...tv..radio...juz great..they may be in the red...but they certainly make me proud to be a MALAYSIAN..to call MALAYSIA my home..and to be proud of Malaysia Airlines as our national carrier...A PAT ON THE BACK for A JOB WELL DONE MAS!

Are there any other Merdeka-themed print or TV adverts available for viewing online for those of use who are not in Malaysia ?

The file is in FLV (flash video) format, so it can't be played by Windows Media Player, Quick Time, Real Player etc.

 

I downloaded FLV Player to play the file i saved :
