Colin Kok 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 Wow KianHong, Nice Mustang shots. !!! I am still trying my luck at getting to travel/jumpseat in one soon if the trip with my friend to Witchita for the deliver flt back to Seletar works out as plan. Gonna take annual leave to join him for the flying holiday trip back on the delivery flight. Hoping the plan materialise and will definitely take lots and lots of shots if it's a GO. Meanwhile I salivate at all your mustang shots ....why didn't SFC consider changing to this while I was training there !!!
Louis L. 2 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 Iggy - Have your itchy fingers reach the state of clicking & typing on SQ online booking yet? Ian - It's certified to a max ceiling of 41 000 ft & a max cruise speed of 340kts. Normal cruising altitude would be around FL250 to FL300, I guess. Not exactly superfast but definitely faster than most twin-props. Pieter - Oh yeah, she is such a hot little 'devil' that almost everyone ogled over her for the past 2 days. Worst offender - Me. Louis - You have 2 600 000 USD RUPIAH in your pocket? YES , I have it Who will be your pilot? TK, Ian, LeeCH, Colin, etc I prefer i will be the one , (dreaming again) The plane is small and cute. Nice Louis pergi beli 4D. can u give me a number that will win the first prize ??? , if not , maybe i will even lose my ak ticket back to BKI by buying 4d and dreaming to win .... Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 the DHC-6-100very nice... btw, i got few DHC-6-300 in my fleet. What's the difference between -100 and -300 ? Fuselage length ?
kianhong 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 According to A.net aircraft data, "the 100s are distinguishable by their shorter, blunter noses." Photo of a real DHC-6-100. Hmm... Zulu Kilo Foxtrot doesn't look like a DHC-6-100 to me. Either there's something wrong with CASA aircraft registration database or this a/c went thru modification. Now I'm confused ... Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted April 28, 2008 Exactly, why I put the question too: no difference to me between the MH- and this one Probably the engine variants and subsequent range/speed combos is a difference... and perhaps the -300 has more later cockpit technology.. The DHC-6-100 uses the PWPT6A-20 The DHC-6-300 uses the PWPT6A-

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 Nord 3202. Looks very similar to Fokker S-11, except Fokker is side-by-side seating !!!
kianhong 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2008 (edited) Love the Extra 300L.. Belongs to Fighter Combat International? New a/c? Are their Nanchangs still rockin' ? Yup, that EXTRA 300L is operated by FCI. Not exactly new, just not being flown as often as Nanchangs. Lovely as always Kian Hong.. whats wrong with the NORD?? Do u mean the white thing above the Cessna172 KianHong? Nothing wrong with the NORD, but what the C172 did was just amazing! Though it seems like a rotation shot, it's actually showing the C172's high speed taxiing on just two main wheel. TK, Bats & MIR - It is Australian Flight Instructor Training School. Looks very similar to Fokker S-11, except Fokker is side-by-side seating !!! Yup, Pieter. And with the same distinct wing-mounted landing gears. TK 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2008 Kian Hong...thank you. Maybe you could check out other rego... Logo looks like the training school that Bats and myself went long time ago..which is at that time was Australian Flying Training School @ AFTS base in Bankstown, Sydney. Batak...remember VH-JTO...i think it was the light blue stripes tobago.
