KC Sim 2 Report post Posted February 3, 2011 The first day of the Lunar New Year has always produced nice surprises ... and the bunny year is no different. The gem of the day came from Garuda ... in the late afternoon, it sent PK-GMF and I was commenting to my fellow spotters that if only PK-GFM was sent instead. Lo and behold, the desired retro B737-800 appeared. This was followed by a quick drive (thanks to Tsen Tsan) to T1 for the push-back shot. Earlier in the afternoon, yet another Delta Airlines B767-300ER N136DL arrived in SIN for maintenance at SASCO. There were already three other B763s from Delta at SASCO. I could not help doing a closeup of AirAsia's A320 with the airline's title "tattooed" on its forehead. KC Sim

RobK 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2011 Hi SIN spotters. Has anyone seen Seair's latest addition, the former Tiger A319 9V-TRB? It was in service for them on the regular SRQ7796 flight to SIN on 8 Feb but I can't find any info on its new Philippine registration. Has it actually been registered in Philippines yet or is it flying for Seair still as 9V-TRB? I know their first one ex 9V-TRA is now registered as RP-C4319. Hope someone can help. Thanks. If I'm not mistaken, the second A319 is registered as RP-C5320. However, that registration has yet to be verified with an actual sighting myself or with a photo of the aircraft bearing its new Philippines registration. John Hargreaves 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2011 RP-C5320 has been doing DG7792 (the morning flight) today and yesterday. Might come in tomorrow as well? Hi SIN spotters, Good afternoon from England. Am hoping someone can help regarding the two Seair A319s. I would like to know which one operated flights SRQ7792 / 7796 / 7797 on Friday 11th February. Hexcode for all three was 7581B9. Is it RP-C4319 or RP-C5320?. Would be a bonus if anyone knows the hexcode for the other bird as well. Thanks, John Hargreaves

Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted February 18, 2011 B-6131 in beautiful light, operating CA055 VTE-SIN. Is this a new service? With 5th freedom rights? I think an A330 is too big for Vientiane to handle.
Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted February 18, 2011 I believe you'll find CA055 is a ministerial flight, not commercial. Nice catch of BBJ B-LEX, she was only re-reg'd (ex- N2121) recently

Sri Ramani K. 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2011 A short hop down to SIN yesterday with a bunch of MW members. Well to start off, there are just too many pics to be edited and too many specials. First off, a tribute to the nose-master, T Azahan & KS Ong B-HNG, Boeing 773 being towed to a new gate. A6-EBN, Boeing 77W being pushed back. PK-LFY, Boeing 739ER being pushed back too. The winglet is a bonus 9V-VLE, Airbus A322 taxiing to her gate. B-HLV, Airbus A333. Many thanks to Raymond for sacrificing his precious Saturday. More to come, stay tuned
