Singapore Changi Airport Spotting

Recommended Posts

Kian Hong...nice pics...esp those shot with 400mm. He was half dead on 31/1 until PANDA came in, PANDA is a much better remedy for him than redbull or Singapore girl...

A6-COM came in on 28/1

Anyone caught the Finnair MD11 OHLGF which came in on 28 or 29 January for Cargo Conversion?

Unfortunately, the Finnair OH-LGF went into Paya Lebar Airbase instead for cargo conversion at SASCO on 28 January with the titles blanked off. It had since been re-registered as N783BC.

Hello everybody,

I will be coming to Singapore at the end of March and again in the middle of April, and of course I would like to do some spotting at Changi. Any advice and information will be greatly appreciated, especially info on good spotting locations and how to get there, equipment needed (lenses etc.), and the security situation. Thanks a lot in advance and I hope to hear from some of you with some advice :-)

Cheers,

Peter

Ah Kong & Norman, nice weather and worry-free spotting too in Changi Business Park. :good:

Bob Lee, I was in CBP too when Pullmantur Air arrives. You must be in another spot as I didn't see any other spotter. :pardon:

I did some spotting from T2 on my arrival & departure day. :good:

Darn! Should have called for a small MW gathering in SIN during then. I was with Sam and Kenneth and we bumped into Michael Chai at the Boeing booth. Then in the afternoon met Amir Merican (hope I got the name right) at one of the MRT station.

There was indeed a Mini Malaysian Wings gathering. At least 10 members here (including the photographer). And multiple nationalities too - Thais, Malaysians, Dutch and Singaporeans. (the other guy is German).

This was on Saturday afternoon, the first public day of the airshow. Chaity, Yong and Wilson had already left for the airport by the time we got to the Changi Business Park, otherwise there would have been more.
