Raymond Ngu 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2010 Kian Hong...nice pics...esp those shot with 400mm. He was half dead on 31/1 until PANDA came in, PANDA is a much better remedy for him than redbull or Singapore girl... A6-COM came in on 28/1 From today 1/2... quite rare for the evening Curry Express to come in ontime. EVA B744CF from Taipei. Etihad finally land on rwy 02L... Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Anyone caught the Finnair MD11 OHLGF which came in on 28 or 29 January for Cargo Conversion?
Hoe Jyh 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Anyone caught the Finnair MD11 OHLGF which came in on 28 or 29 January for Cargo Conversion? Unfortunately, the Finnair OH-LGF went into Paya Lebar Airbase instead for cargo conversion at SASCO on 28 January with the titles blanked off. It had since been re-registered as N783BC. Peter Kesternich 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Hello everybody, I will be coming to Singapore at the end of March and again in the middle of April, and of course I would like to do some spotting at Changi. Any advice and information will be greatly appreciated, especially info on good spotting locations and how to get there, equipment needed (lenses etc.), and the security situation. Thanks a lot in advance and I hope to hear from some of you with some advice :-) Cheers, Peter
Norman 1 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 First time spotting in Changi during the Airshow week.. and my main target was this, However it came during low light... So... will do another trip to SIN... Some other during the 2-day session for 02L arrivals... all normal colors... but I'm not complaining...
Ignatius 4 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 Wow, nice ones Uncle Norman..Who'd complain with shots and spots like those
Chaity 1 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 Ah Kong & Norman, nice weather and worry-free spotting too in Changi Business Park. Bob Lee, I was in CBP too when Pullmantur Air arrives. You must be in another spot as I didn't see any other spotter. I did some spotting from T2 on my arrival & departure day. Quite busy even with 2 runway active Kianhong, I managed to catch the latest SQ 330 just before going to T1 for my flight back to KUL. I would say T2 is a good "spot"

Waiping 12 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Darn! Should have called for a small MW gathering in SIN during then. I was with Sam and Kenneth and we bumped into Michael Chai at the Boeing booth. Then in the afternoon met Amir Merican (hope I got the name right) at one of the MRT station.
Kwek 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 (edited) There was indeed a Mini Malaysian Wings gathering. At least 10 members here (including the photographer). And multiple nationalities too - Thais, Malaysians, Dutch and Singaporeans. (the other guy is German). This was on Saturday afternoon, the first public day of the airshow. Chaity, Yong and Wilson had already left for the airport by the time we got to the Changi Business Park, otherwise there would have been more. and with "weapons" drawn....
