kianhong 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2008 Anyone here can advise the departure time of Condy Rice flight from SIN to PER in her C-32A? If known, we can at least estimate what time to expect her arrival. Thank you.

tsentsan 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2008 Russians, Chinese and Bruneians are departing at 1600 - 1800, so safe to say she should be departing around then though her flight is not listed (yet) or perhaps she is leaving from PLAB.

Yes, from PLAB.

Hoe Jyh 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 Nice shot Raymond! The rain does create some kind of an atmosphere for the picture. Thanks for the dedication Lufthansa LH790 from Munich got delayed again today to an even later timing of 0902hrs. Needless to say, the sun had to give its blessing for such a pleasant surprise. VH-EBX had the honour of operating the last of the 3 special flights as QF156 from Rome to Sydney via Singapore today. China Sonangol International, which is a Hong Kong based company specialising in oil and gas exploration, sent two of their private aircraft this afternoon. First up was a Dassault Falcon 900EX VP-BEF which was followed by A319CJ VP-BEX a few hours later. Hope you enjoyed the pictures

I am wondering too what special flight did QF operate. QF B743 days are numbered. They going to be retired soon as the A380 come online. There're currently four of such type in the fleet : EBV, EBW, EBX and EBY. Usually operating SYD-PER-SYD and MEL-PER-MEL. Even so, these classic are being gradually cut from the Melbourne route and replaced by new A332s.

Ryan Soh 3 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Oh I see. so QF operates that many flights into SIN. Very bouncy kangaroo indeed. Nice pixs, Hoe Jyh. Er Did you also get any shot of HS-TLC? Indeed because SIN is a hub for QF. Previous routes radiating from SIN on QF planes were BKK, CNS, HKG, CDG and KUL.... and I am not sure if SIN-DWN-ADL is still operational circa 2004. The other airline that uses SIN as a hub is mighty little Garuda Indonesia! They fly from SIN to Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Jogjakarta, Palembang, Medan, Semarang, Pekanbahru, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai. Previous routes were also to Hong Kong, London/Gatwick, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Edited July 31, 2008 by Ryan Soh

Hoe Jyh 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 Thai A345s will be sold as TG will be calling off their ultra long haul route from BKK to LAX.. Great catch Tsen Tsan!! Actually it is the BKK-JFK route which had been axed due to losses sustained by the lack of premium passengers, although their flights are often more than 80% full. If I'm not wrong the BKK-LAX route will also have its frequency cut. Well it sure has been an interesting 3+yrs when the A345s with Thai...the most memorable occasion for me was that I got my first glimpse of how awesome the new livery looked when HS-TLA popped in for her first flight to SIN in preparation for the launch of the JFK service.
