Anybody know how to get there by PUBLIC transportation ??? :help:

Well, if we can get free booth for MWings, I'll be willing to bring my 737NG FS9+ProjectMagenta PCs for demo. Can't bring the whole cockpit setup, except just the PCs+ Yoke+MCP.

Anyway.. if others are interested to help out,

('cos manning the booth during carnival like this is

no joke... sweat whole day.. & forget about watching the air displays)

I can make few calls &

see if we can have your setup installed there. But mind you...

the booth may be under canopy, thus, airconditioning for the PC

might not be there...

Your pc and fs would be running from 9am till 6pm non-stop... heat will always

be your enemy here :pardon:

 

But if really want it, we can always find out :pardon:

Ok... we've made a few calls... and gues what?

 

We managed:

1. to secure a booth

2. somebody is sponsoring the RM1000/ rental

3. its under the name of MalaysianWings

4. main show will be flightsim and our passion for aircraft spotting...

 

So, now since they said we should come in on Thurday afternoon to setup

the rigs, we've to get this thing moving.

 

Please put in your name if you're willing to participate

in manning the booth... preferably with flightsim experience

since its already made known to the organiser we're putting

in flightsim demo (the spotting thingy etc will be displayed also laa...)

 

We need to put up a roster, on voluntary basis so that

there'll be somebody from MW manning the booth all the time....

 

Let start the ball rolling...

 

(Please don't count my name to man the booth ... not that I won't participate,

but I'll provide the liason with the organiser...)

Ok... this is the info I've so far... but still subject to changes

 

1. The booth will be in Terminal 3, Subang

2. There will be static aircraft display on the Apron, outside the terminal

3. Dep Prime Minister will officiate the Carnival... time & date to confirm

4. Participant to setup booth from Thursday noon onward, full display from Friday till Sunday afternoon.

Good to hear it will be in T3. If its a canopy, can't imagine with the heavy rain almost everyday.

Anyway, I'll be in and try to sort out with the help of brother Norman what to bring out of my cockpit.

(got a surprise call frm him this evening after so many years).

 

Definetly we need more crews to man the booth.

We need at least 2 per shift.

I think the taxi drivers miss those conversations! Let's give them another chance after these years! :D

 

I'd be glad to help out at the booth on some days, of course not whole day [la] as I wanna enjoy the carnival myself! :lol:

i'm ready to help on friday but have to bear in mind i'm no pro in simmers..still learning on the cessna thou HAHA!!

not even a big time spotter, still carrying my 2MP cam around..wat to do small time enthusiast.

 

PM me if my experties(?) can be used somewhere..HAHA
