Oh well, heard that Jet* Intl is serving complimentary hot meal. :pardon:

Erm ... no. Instead, you can choose to buy a hot meal when you buy your ticket. Only Oasis HK will serve complimentary hot meals on its flights.

see now that makes sense. Aboard Oasis, are you able to choose what meal you like, or do they ask you to pay first and then you have a selection or choice later during the flight??? It would make sense to have people order what they want... but then would you know what you want so many weeks in advance????????? :|

This is what their website says about inflight meals:

"No matter what fare you pay, you’ll enjoy complimentary in-flight meals on every Oasis Hong Kong Airlines flight.

A choice of Asian and Western complimentary meals will be available in both businessOasis and economyOasis.

The only alcohol permitted to be consumed on board is provided by the cabin crew on board."

Sounds good, figuring the fares they charge...

well PER is not too far off according to Tony.. but there are problems with operating the A320 on the PER route from ASEAN ports excluding Bali and Jakarta. they have to be 100% certain to make it.. WX in PER can sometimes be a huge problem and diversion airports are far and wide.. Exmouth or Learmonth, Broome, Port Headland in the north.. but it would need to be an early decision to divert - costing extra $$$ or RMRMRMRM for AirAsia, and that's exactly what their top level management don't want
