Since YK started this thread,it was specially for Haneda spotting.

But i see this thread as a continuation of any Japang spotting, not just for Haneda but also other Japan airport.

YK and i manage to cover Japang this time for the A380 :D 19th Nov 2006

Gloomy day with Grey skies overcast Narita for her arrival.

AirBUS Pilot wanted to land at 10:45am...MH 88 landed at 07:00 (no sleep)...so as YK had to start his journey from his house around 06:30  ..

Narita tower :"Airbus 202, welcome to Narita, Clear to land runway 34 Left"

IPB Image

The flare that made history on Runway 34 Left at NRT as a "super jumbo" they called it arrive's instead of the Queen 747...

IPB Image

20th Nov was my departure day out of NRT-KUL MH89. we delayed an hour...but the Big Bus didn't.

Taken from the cockpit as we taxi on "Delta" for "Alpha", while A380 was on bay 508.

My Captain made announcement to pax as we could see the A380 on the left side of our plane.

IPB Image

I think this plane really need a NOSE JOB... <_>

IPB Image

That's it from me...maybe YK might contribute his photo of A380 lining up 34 Left for Departure

Thanks for viewing :)

19Nov A380 first visit to Japan. We managed to get their first landing at NRT.

Airbus202 from HKG approaching 34L at 1149L on-time! under the horrible wx. :(

IPB Image

Hatake(crop field) point was full house. Museum behind also full.

Lucky I could find last minutes "remote" parking space at there. There were amazing 300++ cars...

I think nearly 1000 people at anywhere end of Runway for 380 arrival.

Deck also thousand or more people at this time.

IPB Image

After landing we gave up Qatari319(Amiri4) departure at 1400L due to rain.

Then moved to Terminal 1 for towing from bay #45 to 46.

Not many people know towing info luckily spot was not so full.

Anyway wx is terrible... Handle by NH hehehe. B)

IPB Image

fit check at #46

IPB Image

20Nov A380 was heading back to TLS as AIB203 weather was slightly better than 19th.

Holding short on Alpha 11mins for on-time 1300L take off.

It's sunny on taxiway but landing gears not visible... :(

IPB Image

Lining up 34L. cloudy again. :(

IPB Image

Taxing and landing light is LED. Whity lighting B)

IPB Image

also toktoktok slides after this shot :p

IPB Image

Sure spotting spot was full again. At least 50 photographers around 34L in spite of bad wx and weekday.

IPB Image

Observation Hill also full with normal people.

Yukihiro,

Thanks for sharing these wonderful A380 shots, taken at NRT, despite the crappy weather, they turned-out quite well :good:

MW members did it again: following the A380 on her tour, whether it be SIN, HKG or NRT (hint, hint for SYD  )

Great coverage of A380 in NRT, YK. Bad weather is not an obstacle for die hard spotters :p

once in a while i will update on Japang spotting.

Recent trip, i had to send back my Japang Friend YK to NRT via BKI...

arrived on Monday morning..so Iran is regular at NRT on Monday and Thursday.

was so lucky, with sunny day and COLD around 8 degree celcius.

waited for her push back as IR801 back to Incheon.

Typical Japanese engineer and mechanic waving and bowing saying good bye to any airliner departing!

Nice SP pic bro. 2years not flying but IAB looks fine now.

Next time you should try outside shooting for Iran. Let me know if you are there on Mon or Thu.

If Thu, we can see Tu-154 he he he.

Long time not uploading to this topic, finally I have some stuff to share.

Weekend in Tokyo, it means Tristar spotting for spotters.

Must go to Yokota "International Airport" if wx is ok.

last Saturday rego was N163AT... new color based no title one... :(

Arrived from Kadena follow "transient alert"(follow me car) to parking bay.

Of course follow me is American vehicle. B)

Trans Pacific from Yokota means "late" afternoon... had to wait...

While standing by ATC-CLR for Amtran, call sign "Transport460" was on approach freq.

Hehehe it's bonus!!! DC8 is coming B) Arriving on Runway 18 her homebase Yokota from Singapore.

N799AL eight-62 with lovely original engines. I think only 1-2 is remining with ATI now.

My first time to get her after wearing new color :D

OK 1640L finally Tristar is taxing out. Lovery 3 holer :D The BEST angle.

Weather OK but last ray of the sun is gone...due to building behind.

Remind me "Phuket" I can touch Tristar. :p

Sun is OK on the Runway. At 1645 almost sunset time.

Amtran 5080 heavy to Seattle showing us powerful rolling. See you next...
