Radzi 2 Report post Posted August 9, 2005 Ok guys, the haze is the signal for us spotters to take our annual leave. Or maybe for the Emperor to slow down a bit.
Tharan G. 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2005 today is the worst so far ... stay indoors guys .. in my room .. i can still smell smoke .. 4679 Yup conditions today was very bad in Cyberjaya today. All outdoor activites was cancelled but that did not stop the " indoor " activities.haha Anyway as Radzi said....time to take leave from Spotting unless you are willing to wear masks...but then again, the picture quality would not be that good. So give the cameras a good rest guys. Emperor to slow down..??? try Nicotine Replacement terapy for a while
Sing Yew 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 Wow, from the shots TK took, the haze situation does looks bad. Esp the 3rd shot. As for us here in ADL, we've been pretty cold for the past couple of days. We had hail yesterday around 2pm when I was walking to one of the lecture theatres for my CFT lecture. Sunshine today, but apparently it'll rain again in the evening. Sigh...
Benjamin Ho 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 We sure dun mind some hail here... the dams are drying up and threaten to have water rationining again like year 98. All hail to Emporer Jon Kong, Please Grant us Rain and Clean Air... Jon Kong Jong Kong Jong Kong... Ben-G

Chaity 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 Thank you TK for the haze photos of KLIA. So I don't have to drive there to see it myself. Azahan, the haze shots of yours look quite OK.
T Azahan 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 chaity, image looks ok because of flood lights. but when it is a clear day, it looks a lot better. gavin, where was your little dog then?
S Chang 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 hi ppl, i've got a low vis pic to share here... this is not haze, but fog. That day airport was closed for the whole morning until afternoon. [/img]
T Azahan 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 well fog is better than smog. both will spoil images but at least you are breathing cleaner air down there. but how i wish i were rich enough to dump everything in KUL and flew to FRA/AMS/MAN for long long spotting holidays. then when the haze gone, i would fly back. heheh
Sing Yew 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 We sure dun mind some hail here... the dams are drying up and threaten to have water rationining again like year 98. Ben-G 4733 Hmm......we don't get hail all the time so it's not too bad.
T Azahan 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2005 by the way s chang.... what's that sticker below the cockpit?
S Chang 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 it's a picture of Auckland. to my eyes it looks like the pic of Rangitoto Island in Auckland, with a yacht in the middle, and "AUCKLAND" written on the bottom right side of it. Dunno when they got that on.
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 So what rego is this NZ 744? I hardly see any NZ 744 during the weekends when I went spotting at AKL. S Chang, do u happen to know the rego of this 744? Heard that all the 744 will be given city names. They must have stolen the concept from MAS
