Nice shots, interesting traffic :) Like the Transaero 777! Never saw here except above FL 350 crossing my home DME-LHR now and then.

Keep the shots comming!

Go to SGN soon, Cornelis: UN will start DME-SGN flights soon 3x a week to Tan Son Nhat... :pardon:

My little contribution for BKK since I was there this week for a company leisure trip.

On 7/2/12, a free and easy day for my trip. Knowing it was a working day, I make my way to the spotting place based on the tips in MWings. <_>

After my BTS Skytrain, Airport Rail Link to Lat Krabang and a short taxi ride to reach this place at 1045 :search:

Waited at the side of the temple but all aircraft were landing on 19L :diablo:

Grrrrrrrrr.......! :aggressive:

A lot of feathered friends to accompany me

I was hoping they changed to 19R arrival but not much luck :angry2:

Waited there till 1430, only 3 aircraft landed at 19R. :vava:

This was one of it. At least something different from KUL :unknw:

Before I forget, I did spot others that catches my eyes :air_kiss:

ladyw.jpg

Seeing the sun shifted, I decided to walk to the main road and find a taxi back to town. :aggressive:

Before that, I dropped by 7-11 shop by the roadside to buy some drinks.

At the counter, the lady was telling me "No sell beer, only after 5PM" I was stunned and just paid for the bottle of mineral water.

I am not sure if the above apply for the whole BKK or just that 7-11. I was in Pataya days earlier and able to buy beer in the afternoon. :o

Perhaps someone can share if you have encountered the above ? :unknw:

Not satisfied with my 3 hours+ just to get 3 aircraft, I decided to walk along the main road towards 19L direction. :vava:

About 1 km from the hotel, I managed to find a place for Thai Massage with an open car park facing the 19L arrival traffic. :D

With my 70-300mm lens, managed to a full frame shot for wide body aircraft. :yahoo:

The sun was good and managed to borrow a stool from the food stall by the road side. A big thank you to the stall lady. :hi:

This shot is dedicated to the kind Thai lady and the kid, sawadee-kap. :good:

Not the same feel. For me Singapore Air Show is a family affair this time around. However the Mwings anniversary is a gathering of friends with common interest. Either way I am looking forward to both.
