S V Choong 4 Report post Posted May 21, 2006 1st:Boeing B727-200Adv/(RE)Super 27 (with winglets) Yikes.... still a gas guzzler... Heard that the 762 uses the same amount of petrol as the 722 Adv
Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted May 21, 2006 A330-343X, just to avoid the annoying PW/GE whining, although with RR its made by whinging poms (sorry, couldn't resist it!), and petal type reverser's!! And for a more personal touch, i'd register it in the UK... G-IBBY However, in a more practical sense of personal a/c, i'd go Hawker 850XP Cheers

Heard that the 762 uses the same amount of petrol as the 722 Adv But it's a three holer...and that's sooo awesome!!! And the rego of my a/c is... 9M-SDB,9M-TBT,9M-THT,9M-TTS,9M-SBW Either one of them.. Edited May 21, 2006 by Tamizi TS

Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted May 22, 2006 Radzi, wouldn't that just be a dream bird! Cruising the world in a P-51...perfect retirement A330-343X, just to avoid the annoying PW/GE whining, although with RR its made by whinging poms (sorry, couldn't resist it!), and petal type reverser's!! And for a more personal touch, i'd register it in the UK... G-IBBY However, in a more practical sense of personal a/c, i'd go Hawker 850XP This topic got me thinking, if you could choose any a/c in active service what would it be. For me, it would be what I would consider one of, if not the, nicest birds around. However i'd hold off until Boeing releases its upcoming retrofit, to remove eyebrow's from older 737's. 737-8EQ BBJ2 c/n33361 l/n1124 N737M (formerely N737SP) This bird is nothing short of stunning

Hmm Tamizi you are right. The B727 is sure a special three holer. Just get Boeing to custom make one for you with new engines from the A320s or the CFMs of the 737NGs
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted May 23, 2006 The B727 is sure a special three holer. My preferred aircraft would be another three-holer: MD11 Just like the sheiks, and because of the fabulous cockpit
Sherman 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2006 (edited) ... to remove eyebrow's from older 737's. .... oh no!!!!!! don remove the eyebrow's... one of the most special part of this baby, second is the CFM... Edited May 25, 2006 by Sherman
