It looks like MAG has secured a used (ex-SAS) A350-900 MSN 378 that is younger than their existing aircraft (3.7 yrs old).

We may need to take planespotters.net information with a pinch of salt. MH or the lessor hasn't released any press release regarding this lease. The latest photo taken on September 5, 2023, the aircraft remains stored at VCV without any movement. It is still registered in Ireland as at end of August 2023, will need to check again in October if it has been deregistered.

On a side note, last week Edelweiss stated that it was taking six used A350-900 to replace its A340 fleet. The first airframe has arrived in France last week as well for preparation for introduction into service. That is how fast other organisation moves.

EI-HJZ was flown to San Bernardino International Airport (SBD), California on September 27, 2023, a 15-mins from VCV. There are several MRO companies in SBD, will soon be able to see of the airframe is indeed coming to MH.

9M-MAH No longer stopping by BKI anymore. Will be direct all the way to KUL. 

No reasons given but i suspect at VCV on ground the range was limited but halfway they got improved fuel prediction from winds.
