Why is it so.. plain? Or to be painted?

This seems to be the standard livery more than half of the 737s are white albinos.

Cat expensive abang, so made do with albino livery, asalkan selamat sampai. PR/Marketing/ Communications Department is really not the main forte of Lion Air Group. Their Group wide fleet livery is .............😴

But it really is a bit of a tone down from those very elaborate 'batik' tails on the 738s and Max8s to these albinos 😄

Somehow, I think management has still to decide what kind of airline they are. Are they going to the LCC, FSC or hybrid? I think once they have decided, the planes will be painted accordingly and the cabins may also be reconfigured.

This airframe was supposed to be spare aircraft when there was an operation chaos last month, but it went AOG as well. Read online 9M-DAB is another problematic aircraft.

Raya Airways has been slowly moving to KUL. They now have a fourth B767-200 freighter.

Actually all 4 already moved. Saw all 4 parked together in KUL cargo apron since march.  They may be interested in acquiring another 767.

They are still operating out of SZB - e.g. this morning, their usual morning flight from SZB-CGK.

A quick look at FR24 records show that they ferry the aircraft from SZB to load them up at KUL. The aircraft fly in and out of both SZB and KUL at the moment.

Gradually they will fully moved. Good is the vacant apron lot at SZB means theres at least potentially 5 additional parking for diversion traffic from KUL.

Wasn't the SZB cargo terminal supposed to close a long time ago? They should move all the cargo operations to KUL.

Looks like Raya is going to lose out the SZB advantage in terms of timely movement of cargo.

The redevelopment of SZB s city airport could have played a factor for them to move out of SZB, the proposed plan is to demolish current T2 and T3 and rebuild a new terminal from scratch. https://www.nst.com.my/business/2023/04/900935/wct-work-mahb-rm13bil-subang-airport-regeneration

Interesting addition - a B738 that was formerly with Garuda and is in two class configuration... Also interesting to see the full Batik Air livery again, after all the whites....

Seems skyliner-aviation.de made a mistake, the correct MSN is 3064. Ex-AirAsia Malaysia 9M-AFR/ Philippines AirAsia RP-C8970

According to Airbus Order and Delivery March 2023 report, MyAirlines is now "operating" nine (9) A320ceo. Of course, some are still in preparation (MSN 2968, 4013 and 4655). Rayner also has stated the company has signed an additional 17 A320ceo.

Back in July 2022, Raya Airways stated that it was expecting to lease a total of four Airbus narrowbody (two A320P2F and two A321P2F) P2F-converted freighters from ST Engineering’s aviation asset management business. First airframe would join its fleet by Q4, 2022, but since then, the delivery was delayed to Q2, 2023. https://www.ch-aviation.com/portal/news/117341-malaysias-raya-airways-to-lease-a320-a321-p2f-freighters

First aircraft is 9M-BZA MSN 1293 22 years old. First delivered to Asiana Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Metrojet and last with Sky Angkor Airlines. https://www.planespotters.net/airframe/airbus-a321-200-9m-bza-raya-airways/rm8nk3

In an all-white livery, it looks a bit like a 757 from certain angles.

It not only looks like a B757 but it will eventually replace it in the freighter role as airlines retire them. More pax A321 are reaching 20 years old and be the feedstock for P2F conversions.
