Norman 1 Report post Posted April 27, 2006 Well spotted. It's one of the few dustspots . Blower cannot get rid of everything. Maybe I should send in my camera for service. Already done about 9000 pics in one year. Lucky I'm using Neekon Dust cleaning service is free by Nikon Malaysia Even after warranty

Azman MN 1 Report post Posted May 1, 2006 Well, Azman, are you a dark sider or a bright sider? cause as I am a bright sider, my weapon allows me to clean the senor by pressing through the menu. Bright sider. Lots of darksiders here but we have to maintain the balance in the universe, right? Anyway, sensor cleaning only opens up the mirror. Then have to use the blower but some dust are just so stubborn!! So here are some more pics:

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 Azman, Love the Jumbolino-shot with the speedbrakes open; notice the Star-Alliance symbol already applied Keep them comin'...love that airport
Azman MN 1 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 2 weeks ago I was on that Jumbolino from London City and we had an aborted landing. Could not operate the flap or something. Second approach was fine, only that I could hear the warning system going "no flaps! no flaps!". I think the plane was light, only a quarter full, and long enough runway, so it was not a problem. Anyway here's some more: Embraer 170 I think While shooting the arrivals at 14, we can see some departures from 28:
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 Embraer 170 I think Nice shot of the AB 319 Indeed, an Embraer E170... Which regional jet of the 3 above would you prefer to fly ??? I know.........
Ricky Tiong 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 Wow... I tell you, Azman... the 146 is very interesting image.. It has something to do with the fact that the BAe 146 had it's butt wide open on approach isn't it? Is it unusual to see an aircraft to deploy speed brake so late in flight i.e. on approach? Attan 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 All lovely shots, Azman. Love my Iberia best. Ricky, I think they use the air brakes for landing most of the time. Seen TUDM's F-28 do it regularly. Probably allow them to keep their engines spooled up and yet have the speed down - very useful for go-arounds (aborted landings).
