I. Wong 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2019 BSB? Brasilia in Brazil? Will this means there will be first international flight between SBW and BWN? I hope this route can sustain as BWN can be a good alternative to KUL and SIN for those travelling abroad from Sarawak. I noticed few months ago, BI had good price for flight from LHR to KUL at less than £400 return.
JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2019 BSB as in Bandar Seri Begawan. Official code BWN. Sorry, got too used to BSB since I grew up there.... Lol

Samuel Chy 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2019 Wonder if this will have any impact upon existing BWN-BKI vv flights ? maybe no more A320? and rumours AK BKI-BWNvv might end soon also
Al Khaymi 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2019 maybe no more A320? and rumours AK BKI-BWNvv might end soon also Not rumours but confirmed. Last service for AK will be this Sunday. Not surprised though, early morning flights are hard to compete with the timings offered by BI (majority of Bruneians treat KK as a quick getaways, head to the airport after school/ work ends on a friday and back by sunday evening). JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2019 This should be AK second time closing BKI-BWN route. maybe no more A320? and rumours AK BKI-BWNvv might end soon also I somehow think BI A320 flight will continue, Bruneians tend to buy a lot of stuff from KK. 15kg is just insufficient for them. flee 5 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 Turboprops somehow are still regarded as inferior to jets. But yes, if pax are only allowed 15 kg checked luggage, it is going to be an issue. Even LCCs like Airasia have upgraded their lowest weight to 20 kg when they used to start at 15 kg.
