Mohd Suhaimi Fariz 2 Report post Posted January 21, 2019 Looks like BA is joining the retrojet club. Not bad, a 744 in the old BOAC colours. https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/pictures-ba-reveals-boac-747-400-retrojet-more-t-455159/
jani 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2019 Very nice. Would look killer in the newer jets like the 77W, 787 or A350
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted January 22, 2019 (edited) Cathay Pacific must have nicked BOAC's livery.... Funny to see a B747-400 adorning the BOAC livery with the good old -100/200/300 P&W engines in their rendering. Wonder if the Landor livery is in the cards. The Landor livery looks great! Sharil Abdul Rahman 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2019 Question to everyone - does anyone remember which livery landed in which airport in its heyday? I know Landor was a visitor to SZB when it was still KUL, but did the BOAC livery arrived here? And did the Landor landed in KLIA?
flee 5 Report post Posted March 11, 2019 I am quite sure BOAC made it to SZB (when it was KUL) - see the 707s and VC-10s regularly. Can't really remember seeing any 747s though. Not sure if Landor made it to KUL - this livery was superseded in 1997, when KLIA opened. But there may be some aircraft in this livery pending the update. BA stopped coming to KUL in 2001. I have seen both Landor livery in KUL and SIN during the 1990s. I saw the Negus livery in HKG, KUL and SIN in the 1980s. Landor livery is definitely one of the best livery of BA.
