BKI/WBKK 2019

It is quite telling too, that Airasia has double daily flights from BKI-SIN but has triple daily from BKI-JHB. It shows that there is not much interest travelling to and from Singapore to Sabah. Singaporeans still prefer to go Penang/Ipoh/Melaka while Sabahans don't really visit Singapore. Connecting pax probably prefer to go in to KUL to connect to BKI as there are numerous options. Lets see how Scoot does - we will know pretty soon, I guess!

Possibility that Singaporeans might also use JB as springboard to elsewhere in the region including to BKI.

"KKIA has registered an increase of 23 per cent in passenger movement for the KK-Singapore sector between January and October compared to same period last year."

maybe it due to the additional AK morning flight to SIN, and OD (if still on)?

anyway, back on topic. some more pixes taken during the Scoot Inaugural events.

a test shot before the Scoot arrive,

After a long waits, finally Love Fly on her proving flight, after a week of postponed.

yesterday (06Dec), she fly to PEN overnight, and later today she was schedule to flight to BKI as NM8888 (as shown in PEN FID) at 1230LT. but she only took off from PEN at around 1325LT, with the flight number of "LUV".

she then landed at BKI at 1545LT, after around 2hrs 20mins of flying time from PEN.

the Port side

but the weather not on our side~ :pardon:

and the starboard side

But still thanks for the little rain, reduced the heat haze for this colleciton. :friends:

on ground the aircraft is handled by PosAviation as well.

after several hours on ground, she finally ready to back SZB as NM8889 at 1830LT. instead of "9MLUV" on her test flight earlier last week, and "LUV" for today PEN-BKI flight.

if you notice that, the management take the action pretty fast after our little "complaint" on the stains. today she pretty clean. quite a lovely livery i must say
