XT will lease five A320 to QZ, and both A333 will be reassigned to XJ. This would effectively means XT will have zero aircraft in fleet, physically. It's ok if they offer near full refund. But Ak always insist on credit transfer for an alternate route. I always inform my friends and relative not to book hotels so quickly when flying on LCCs and even FSCs with newly launch routes until the routes have been flying out for at least 6months plus and loads look good. You always hear them complaining its not fair to consumers etc but that's how airlines will continue to operate if people keep continue to haul for the bargain tickets. Just refund. But now were going off topic,,, I actually prefer refund over credits. AirAsia on the other hand always uses credit refunds via their Big frequent flier programme for terminated routes. Affected travelers would have to claim it quickly and use it to fly to another similar AirAsia destination in terms of flying hours. Preference might be different for other travelers though.
