JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2018 (edited) PT AirAsia Indonesia Extra AOC is now revised to charter only, no longer doing scheduled flight. XT will lease five A320 to QZ, and both A333 will be reassigned to XJ. This would effectively means XT will have zero aircraft in fleet, physically. flee 5 Report post Posted October 12, 2018 XT will lease five A320 to QZ, and both A333 will be reassigned to XJ. Wow, that means XJ will take these two plus another two aircraft in rapid succession... Maybe they can really use it during the Christmas and CNY peak seasons... Kenny Sing 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 AK can just try and axe the route whenever it is not profitable, which is pretty normal for AK, launch it, and axe it if it is not making profit. it wont be the first time they do it, and it won't be the last. Holger 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2018 just that it is a tat more frequent for AK, that's it Its normal when you open 10 new routes that some of them are not working....and AK is not MAS where the taxpayer pay the loss or Malindo where this rich indonesian guy pay the bill! jahur 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2018 (edited) Its normal when you open 10 new routes that some of them are not working....and AK is not MAS where the taxpayer pay the loss or Malindo where this rich indonesian guy pay the bill! It's ok if they offer near full refund. But Ak always insist on credit transfer for an alternate route. I always inform my friends and relative not to book hotels so quickly when flying on LCCs and even FSCs with newly launch routes until the routes have been flying out for at least 6months plus and loads look good. You always hear them complaining its not fair to consumers etc but that's how airlines will continue to operate if people keep continue to haul for the bargain tickets. Holger 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2018 I can tell you how it is here in the european union: If the airline canx the flight at least 14 days in front...they dont need to offer you an alternative flight! Just refund. But now were going off topic,,,

Just refund. But now were going off topic,,, I actually prefer refund over credits. AirAsia on the other hand always uses credit refunds via their Big frequent flier programme for terminated routes. Affected travelers would have to claim it quickly and use it to fly to another similar AirAsia destination in terms of flying hours. Preference might be different for other travelers though. Back to topic, believe Kathmandu should be feasible if the a320neo is used? D7 is pulling out. Edited October 23, 2018 by jahur
