With airport tax going up in klia2, it would be wise for Airasia to do some data mining of their user base and come out with more direct routes so that East Malaysians do not need to transit in the increasingly expensive klia2.

Brilliant, while MAB/Maswing is slashing more flights in East Malaysia, AK seems to be making good business from evidence of their increasing frequencies in these sectors. And it is just a matter of time when their plan to build a new hub at KIA is realised. The Sarawak government is all for anything that could bring in good opportunities for the country's development. Next move should perhaps be KCH - BPN, KCH - BDJ and KCH - CGK/HLP.

I would presume more to China routes. Sarawak Govt has signed a huge MOU with Huawei for Digital Partnership.

AAX B777-300ER will be from EVA air, B-16701 & B-16702

Out of interest both B-16701 & B-16702 are now with Nordwind Airlines as VP-BJL & VP-BJO.

Most probably destination? SIN? KNO? Or even East Malaysia?

Yeah perhaps IPH to KNO and SIN and for KUA to SIN and KCH/BKI or even KUL if they market it well.

TR have attracted pax from IPH and KUA for their onward flights beyond SIN.

or even KUL if they market it well.

KUL-IPH will rely heavily on connecting pax. I highly doubt many people would want to fly purely between KLIA and Ipoh when there are much better alternatives.
