Holger 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2014 Oh wow! That's good news. Maybe they should do KCH PNK too, or they have given up on starting new routes ex KCH?! They started Langkawi 4/7 and Kota Bharu 3/7 beginning of this year...meanwhile Langkawi is canx!
H C Chai 4 Report post Posted October 3, 2014 They started Langkawi 4/7 and Kota Bharu 3/7 beginning of this year...meanwhile Langkawi is canx! LGK cancelled already? That was quick. At least they tried... I remember maswings had 2 flights a days to PNK at one point. Maybe that's seasonal.

Radzi 2 Report post Posted October 23, 2014 Really? This reminds me of Tiger changing from Stripes to GoCat.
Amirul Mazlan 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 Apparently there are too many Expresses. Malindo official callsign still bearing Express though it was rarely used. Transmile has changed to Raya Express and there's express air in Indonesia, a prominent callsign in Ujong Pandang FIR. Not sure if the move is initiated by AirAsia themselves or by authority. For me, change is always good.
flee 5 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 I like D7's call sign - Xanadu. AK's new call sign, Red Cap - sounds like a condom, doesn't it?
Mulyadir Fitri 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 Red Cap. I like it. Short and succint. Easier for crews and ATCs

kandiah k 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2014 Yes interesting route but you cannot purchase KUL to Nice direct, at least not yet. Wonder how they will survive the route given that they are running low on yields.

flee 5 Report post Posted November 4, 2014 Yup, Nice is quite a nice city in the South of France. Went there two years ago - via D7 to ORY and then the TGV. Yes, you can take a 1 Euro Bus to Monaco from there. Venice is also a boat ride away.
Kee Hooi Yen 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2014 I believe the market is predominantly transiting pax, especially from Australia. O&D demand may not as strong. What's next ? Perhaps SXM ? That will be nice !
