45 minutes for A330 turnaround??? Impressive!

JAL and ANA have only 50 minutes turnaround time for their fully loaded 773 and 744 (ANA).

45 min turnaround on an A330 is 'doable' but very tight on schedule with no margin for any hiccups at all. It is going to be a long break for the operating crew in PUS as turn around flight is not possible due to 'Flight Time Limitation'.

QZ is relaunching DPS-BKI 3 times a week starting 27th July 2013. Hope it would last long this time around.

AirAsia to Increase Perth - Bali Flights; Launch Bali - Sabah

AirAsia Indonesia is to increase its flight frequency between Perth and Bali through an extra daily service, bringing the total up to four flights per day.

The additional daily frequency will be operated by a brand new Airbus A320 effective 1 July 2013.

Dharmadi, President Director of AirAsia Indonesia, said, “The demand for flights between Perth and Bali has been exceptionally strong since we first launched the route in June 2009, recording an average load factor of 85%. We are adding frequency to meet the rapidly growing demand from business and leisure travellers alike.”

Flight QZ 8419 departs Perth at 10:35 local time and lands in Bali at 14:20 local time. The return flight QZ 8418 departs Bali at 06:20 local time and arrives in Perth at 10:00 local time.

From Bali, passengers can continue their journey onwards to exotic domestic destinations such as Jakarta, Bandung, Makassar, Yogyakarta and Surabaya, as well as international destinations like Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and the newly-introduced Kota Kinabalu.

“AirAsia is committed to ensure ‘Now Everyone Can Fly’, anywhere and anytime. While other airlines offer higher fares during school holidays, AirAsia celebrates the holiday season by offering all-inclusive fares from Perth to Bali from as low as A$159 one way. There is no better time than now to plan a getaway to Bali with your loved ones!” added Dharmadi.

In line with its business expansion to Australia, AirAsia Indonesia is also introducing three weekly flights between Bali and the capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. Situated in the Northwest coast of Borneo Island, Malaysia, Kota Kinabalu is an ultimate holiday destination. The city caters to a wide range of interests; from shopping, mouth-watering culinary hunting, island hopping, to climbing Mount Kinabalu for the more adventurous and brave travellers.

“Starting 27 July 2013, passengers can conveniently connect from Bali to Kota Kinabalu from as low as $42 all-inclusive per way,” said Dharmadi.

Booking period for the special fares lasts until 28 April 2013 for travel between 1 July and 27 July 2013, for Perth and Kota Kinabalu respectively, all the way to 30 April 2014.

AirAsia Boosts Kuala Lumpur – Kuching Service from May 2013

Mike P, kindly refrain from quoting the entire post from Airlineroute.net like that as Jim Liu was not pleased with it in the past. You should treat it in the same manner as materials from the Australian Business Traveller (where both website owners have strongly opposed such methodology personally in our forum).

Was he not pleased with my quote on his post in the past? I didn't notice that, will take note. Thanks.

Not yours, but some other members. Most of his earlier posts in the forum were to remind MW members not to do so. Based on my observation, the highest degree of quoting etiquette has to be applied if you are sourcing from The Australian Business Traveller and Airlineroute.Net.

Okay. I noted on the ABT but not the Airlineroute.Net. I used to post JL's blog here and he did reply my post back with extra information, never mentioned that I've violated his right to re-post his blog here. Probably the admin should set the rules or list down the sources where the authors do not allow their articles or blogs to be posted on other forum. This would have been handier in the future for the members to abide the guidelines accordingly and therefore not raising unnecessary arguments.

I wonder if Lombok is a better stepping stone to Komodo Island instead of Bali.

When I was there last year, I noted that the prices are higher and the frequency, lower.
