Recommended Posts

there you go... would you shift BKI to kimanis? where will have such good backdrop?? :p

our beloved BKI airport with a only one and only one majestic Mt K backdrop...

Shift to Tuaran, and the view is even more majestic.

That picture shows me another reason why a move to Kimanis is not necessary - where is the congestion ?! :)

should put the old T2 for a better use instead, that will able to ease up the congestion.

another idea is expand the apron and use airside transfer, it's nothing new in other country. but in malaysia we rarely seen that happening.

T2 can actually be the remedy for future lack of parking spaces at T1 later on. MAHB can order a fleet of airport buses to transport pax from T1 to their aircraft parked at T2.

today, another remark-able day for the state, as one of our long wished route is finally re-launched by FD. hopefully the fare and the option will last longer.

and of course, a welcome event is a must.

but unfortunately HS-BBV Operate as FD470, A330-216 deployed for today, which is a standard-sharklet livery, some more it's a CEO/Fake Neo :pardon:, thus attracted a few of us only.

and well... his back looks nice right? :air_kiss:

I think this big ship is one of the smaller carriers. It looks like USS Essex, an amphibious assault ship.

Didnt the US have some joint military exercises recently in the east coast of Sabah?

in fact it's USS Essex (LHD-2). if bigger, i think it's quite hard to get so close to the shore...

Yup this is smaller. More of a landing support craft as oppose to CVN-74 that came a few years ago.

great pics! thanks

yes last time when an aircraft carrier came it was in Sept/Oct 2012 USS John C Stennis (CVN74) , and she was further out of the sea. this one is really close to shore!

for the first time i take a photo of the USS Carrier, and by eyes, i dig out my "antique" lens for it purpose, pardon the quality... as was too hazy on the day i took these photos

the front aft of the carrier

and the rear

44259173031_5f7a27eb42_o.jpg

and continue with today (25.08.18) highlights, MH2616 upgraded to A330-300 9M-MTK, which troll FR24 and showed that the next flight MH68 to be operate by this aircraft ::80::

seldom we see widebody at this hour, best light condition of the day.

and later she operate as MH2647 back to KUL at STD 2005, ATD 2035
