JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) Thai Air Asia will be taking a ex-SQ A330 (9V-STA) a 10 year old aircraft soon. It has been repainted and reconfigured seating by ST Aerospace.First photo is up online, here she is conducting air test back on 5th Sept 2018. Same as her ex-MU siblings, she has smaller 3L/R door. Is she getting 377 or 367 seating? Planespotters.net reports 377, I think it is wrong, due to its exit limitation. https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9056620 A new little Tony ;-) source: skyliner Balance of eight more new built A320ceo for AirAsia Group. That will conclude AirAsia Group order for nearly 200 new built A320ceo. Edited September 11, 2018 by JuliusWong

Kris Kim 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2018 Did D7 revise its livery again? It looks like the 'AirAsia' logo on the tail is the same as the A320's now without the 'X' and is diagonal, 9M-XXD (UFC Livery) and 9M-XXI currently have the new tail. White engines with no logo. I think I read some more now that AirAsia X brand is famous around the region, they are now consolidating all subsidiaries livery as standard AirAsia. A smaller one on A330 tail compared to the big bold one we have seen on A320
flee 5 Report post Posted September 14, 2018 Like Airasia Group, Airasia X Group are involved in the One Airasia programme. The long term objective of OneAirasia is to have a single airline that they can call an ASEAN airline. So it makes sense to have a single brand identity for all group airlines. flee 5 Report post Posted October 22, 2018 AirAsia Group fleet is pretty messed up now. Yes, I think they won't be refitting the cabins until scheduled heavy maintenance is due. So, for a while we will have some FSC cabins on D7 and XT routes.
