Interesting applications:

AK:

BKI-MDC 4 weekly (scuba shuttle?)

D7:
KUL-HFE - 4 weekly

TPE-OKA - 4 weekly (5th Freedom rights)

MH:
KUL-CTS: 3 weekly (is this for charter or schedule?)

MH will again increase MEL-KUL to 17 weekly from 16NOV to 29FEB, any chance that these flights become permanent?

https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/285614/malaysia-airlines-nw19-melbourne-frequency-changes/

Its the usual seasonal flights. Australian summer sees greatly increased pax traffic. D7 similarly increases flights during this period.

I hope MH can make CTS permanent with A330 or A350 equipment. D7 is now charging a arm and leg for this sector.

CTS is too leisure-oriented for year-round MH service. Even D7 had to cut back during the off season.

Yes, difficult to sustain the route year round. D7 will not fly there during typhoon season - Aug/Sep

If I am not mistaken, Tuesday also has the most number of flights at KUL
