MAB to Lease 6 Ex-Air Berlin Airbus A330-200 Aircraft from February 2018

Recommended Posts

Spotted something different or is it just me. Main page on MH website scroll down under column “travel comfortably”... that IFE screen looked too small even for a A333...

They probably resized the image so that the woman isn't cropped off.

My eyes have failed hahaha.. looking it at a second time yes it's an a333 fuselage length and tail height does not correspond to the a332 design.

Yes. Its prob some imaginary cabin. The windows are ala non-BSI 737s, certainly not Airbus portholes.

That Irish flag adds some colours to MH livery.

MH had A330-200 before, so technically not the first.

I believe the one pictured here c/n 665 EI-GFI is the future 9M-MTV.

That also confirms the 6 frames which MH are leasing.....c/n's 665, 822, 828, 911, 968 and 1112.

Does anyone has a list of schedules of where and when and commencement dates the 332s will be operated on?

(Not a list of destinations please)

MH78 - KUL - HKG in Dec. Not too sure when it will start but I managed to check MH will be operating 3 different types of aircraft in Dec to HKG - B738, A333 and A332.

Which maiden flights will -MTV operate soon?

Also, does anyone have the exact layout of biz seats? Which window seat rows are closer to the aisle and which ones have the console in between the aisle and the window seat?

Will these 332 frames will be used on shorter regional & trans SCS (south china sea) services before they are being deployed to their original mission?

Rumor has it that finally one of the A332 will be in service tomorrow doing MH782 to BKK.

The late plane swap from the scheduled 333 caused some capacity issues at the front cabin .... that MH has actively been calling up pax to switch to other flights.

It would be wise and practical to use these 6 A332s for its longer haul of over 8 hours as it have the range and more ie for its New Zealand service which MH uses its A333 with restricted payload as its almost 11 hours long.
