F. 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2017 The original masterplan called for second MTB mirroring current one on opposite side - which begs a question, why current KLIA2 didn't sited there instead? Izanee 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) I think when KLIA was conceived, it was a beautiful plan which was far sighted. However, MAHB got sidetracked from their core business which is aviation and is now trying to make KLIA look like Central Market. Such a shame. The original shed like LCCT was built quickly so that we could pip Changi to the title of Asia'a first LCCT. Then instead of going with the original design, MAHB rushed to build a more expensive terminal elsewhere. It's a shame because I'm sure most of this was done to allow cronies to get a share of the pie. This is the story of Malaysia.
