Wow!!! What a wonderful old lady!!!

She is scheduled to visit Japan at the end of this month

I must go somewhere(Kumamoto, Kobe & Fukushima) to catch her!

Yes, you have many chances to get her in Japan. It will be there for a long time.

Today, the Breitling DC-3 flew a total of four sorties, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. We had more chances of catching her! :good:

My final Breitling DC-3 shot. What a beauty she is, even at a ripe old age of 77!

I had watched those operated by MSA taking off from runway 33 many, many years ago and still remember their distinctive sound. I also remember those that the RMAF operated in the 1960s.

Thanks for bringing this grand old lady back to Malaysia, Breitling! Any chance of bringing the Super Connie next? :drinks:

She was here this morning at 1155am. Probably here to attend the 15th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong coronation tomorrow.

Did not expect the Sultan of Brunei would come since the Brunei Crown Prince came with the 342 yesterday. First landing into SZB. Third time to Malaysia.

Crown prince with 342 left after installation. HM flew in for the installation dinner.

Big engines. Wing flex is not as pronounced as the Dreamliner.

I wonder when will he depart? Hope it is in the morning as he usually takes off from runway 33!

LOL Francis. Saw it going towards Pekan in FR24. Heart sank and quickly rushed to SZB.

Maybe going back after breakfast, before lunch. Or after lunch, before dinner.

Good ones Deezzul.

When coming out of AF base via Zulu, His Majesty's pilots requested for Rwy33 departure as it is their norm. To our delight, the tower denied their request as asked them to cross and taxi towards Rwy15.

For your info, the sheer lenght of this B748 really max out the camera. @18mm (DX) and 1.5 crop body.

The two GEnx-2B67 still looks very purple (new) after delivery in Oct 16.

True... even a normal heavily loaded 748 bound for the US from China or Korea would not have the same flex as the 787s. A bit of a shame really. She would look smashing with a good bit of bending to the wing.

Wing flex is less pronounced on 4-engined aircraft probably because the outer engines are pulling the outer wing down.

Just my theory.

Baby -700s treat today.

Las Vegas departing for Singapore. She needs a thorough bath.

Regent had 2 hours test flight abeam the coast of Port Klang/Banting. Upon returning to SZB, they did a go around at 200ft and a touch and go.

When they came to land at the end of flight test, they managed to have the plane completely stopped before taxiway H exit, which probably used a KM or less of runway. Maybe they were testing their 'brand new brakes'

The Cargo Airlines, from Georgia, is subsituting Raya Airways' B762 for their nocturnal Hong Kong run; with their A300B4-203. This B4 was originally from Singapore Airlines and has been owned by 6 different airline in her 36.5 years of service.
