I only saw those rmaf c130 doing those reverse thrust push back in kk before. Very rare sight to see an a340 do it!

Equipment upgrade for Jin Air, B772 HL7733 descending to BKI as of now.

 

Alas, we can never get them in daylight.

its been going on for nearly a week now, and yes sadly its at night.

Yesterday checking FlightRadar24 and notices that MASkargo deployed A332F which should be 9M-MUD but deploy 9M-MUB instead. Below some shots taken yesterday.

That was unhealthy load.. Considering the fare aren't that cheap.

Got Thai students to our office today in KK, and when I told one of them that there are already non-stop flight to BKK, he was surprised but at least I informed him abt that.

 

Price may be at the high side for us locals, but I think the non-stop will do well for visitors from Europe and countries west of Thailand. Let see how it goes...

I remembered in the 90s TG used 737-400 for the BKK-BKI route?

Yes they did

And when that didn't do too well, they sort of combined it with their flight to BWN

That didn't work out either, so bungkus altogether - until now :)

ei? How come Mt K looks so big from the picture? Must be a perspective issue. When see Mt K from T1 it doesn't look that big compared to the pic.

 

Maybe A319 suffice for this route. Let's see how long it can go for.
