She was here yesterday but didn't manage to spot her. If I'm not mistaken, this livery is brand new and just rolled out not long ago...probably few days or within one or two weeks.

She arrived at WMKP this morning around 7:38 AM. And departed to Medan (KNO) as flight QZ103 at 8:19 AM. Presenting PK-AXV wearing new livery - Wonderful Indonesia livery.

They really had to find a place to put that registration eh with all the designs.

On a separate note, saw on FR24 an aircraft named A342 departed Penang and looks like it was headed towards Sarawak / Sabah area. Sultan of Brunei in town?

Hi all, I went to Penang International Airport terminal this evening around 8.45pm and noticed that there is Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport(MRTT) parked in front of Tower. This is the photo that I have taken before leaving Terminal:-

My friend saw Australian Air Force pilots and officers were being transferred to Hotel Equatorial by the hotel bus shutters. :acute:

There is one private home-built kit plane landed at Penang International Airport on 26 October 2017, around 12:10pm.
It's Vans RV-10 aircraft wearing plane registration ZU-IHF.
The aircraft is a four-seat, single-engine, low-wing home-built airplane sold in kit form.
As what I know, they are on round-the-world trip. Flown all the way from Broome (BME) to Jakarta (HLP) then Langkawi (LGK) and stopped at Penang (PEN).
They was scheduled to get avgas at Langkawi but somehow Langkawi didn't have any so they flown to Penang instead.
The kit plane is built by Sylvia and Brian Foster.
Public can track their flight on
www.gsattrack.com. Login with username Public and password FOSRTW.
Then you will able to see the latest position of the aircraft.
I have contacted the pilot via his Facebook page and he told me that they will depart from Penang on tomorrow 8am.
This is the aircraft that they flown in yesterday afternoon...and I managed to capture her before sun set.

Now one can assemble their own working life sized plane. One would either feel proud of being able to get their own plane in the air, OR one could be terrified and wonder if all the screws and rivets are in.

Interesting catch nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

The home-built aircraft was departed from WMKP on 28 October 2017 morning.
They were scheduled to take off at 8.00am. However, they were only seen on tarmac around 8:13am then.
After doing pre-flight checks etc, they finally lifted off around 9:07am.
They were continue their RTW journey. Wish them clear skies all the way back to origin.
Good bye!

Nice one Dennis. It is a good thing that they are now doing works on TW A. Can get rotation shots at this point.

Though judging by the distance it used, I'd say it was a rather light load.

Usually when the MAS A350 light load , they certainly will rotate around taxiway Charlie. Looking forward the second A350 (9M-MAC) come to Penang soon. Not sure when it will be.

Special guest today (25 December 2017) - MasKargo, Airbus A332 from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Penang International Airport as flight MH6163.

Awesome photos as always, Lee. Thanks much for sharing with all of us.

I was aware of the approach of A400M (as I was tuned into WMKB radar freq).

I think they were here for low flyby before continue their journey to somewhere (most probably to Butterworth AFB).

The belly shot of MH A350 9M-MAC totally awesome. Thumbs up :clapping:
