Introducing Malaysia's newest charter airline- flyGlobal

Recommended Posts

Interesting. Going against Air Bayu? Want to pick up on the 777s we have laying around?

Also I guess the writer of the copy punya keyboard, the spacebar was sticky. A couple of places lacked the space between the words.

Good luck and safe speeds to FlyGlobal!

What's with the trend of new charter airlines in Malaysia? Surely now even the charter market will be saturated? Umrah offered by Super Jumbos of MH, AK with widebody a330, and even Malindo will offer those too. Even Bayu will offer charter umrah services. Don't forget Suasa.

This new airline if it does comes into being will compete against MAS new charter with its 6 A380s for the haj charters as well as for regional ones. Added to this is new european set up charters with similiar A380s like Amedeo - see https://sg.style.yahoo.com/plane-leasing-company-forced-start-115925060.html And further to this if Dr Peters group with its 2 out of 5 ex SIA A380s nowmay even go into this as there are no takers for the A380s.

People in this country seem to think that running airlines can be done very easily. Yet another venture bites the dust! But hey, another one (Love Fly) has taken its place!!

Believe they only planned for peak season and neglected about off peak season.

Another B772 of flyGlobal has been sent to dessert for storage/ scrapped.

Boeing 777-212     28530/390     VP-BYX     ?     ferried 28feb20 KUL-VCV     ex 9M-FGA, 9V-SQI

I wonder what will happen to their 2nd B772ER, 9M-FGB? Has it left KUL?

Thanks Mr Bandit for the update. Seems like both B772ER will meet their makers soon. B773 will move to another airline.

Sad end to an ex-SQ bird... I think that there isn't much demand for B777-200ERs these days, even with low oil prices! But B773 economics are still not too bad, especially in high density configs.
