BREAKING: MH1 suffers severe turbulence, injuries reported

Recommended Posts

I think it is 9M-MNF.

Well SQ A380s also experienced similar or worse turbulence than this. Strange that smaller planes don't seem to be involved!

Seatbelts will not help much against carts or other hard stuff flying up and then down onto pax. Must have been a frightening experience for the poor pax and crew.

Nope. Actually the smaller A332 also face the same thing. Remember the flight EY 474 to CGK roughly a month ago? And all these come to the Question. How well the Airbuses metals could handle the turbulence compared to Boeing's? Especially with those 777s ... I think I read it somewhere in Capt Lim's blog about this matter.

This would accelerate Foxtrot C check now. MPP finally has some job to do.

Air turbulence is no joke. I have a friend who previously worked with QR. She was grounded for life after one of her flight went to CAT and a bag fell on her. It was awful news for her and us to swallow.

Speedy recovery for all injured.

So MPP might get a recall to scheduled flight while MNF is warded?

A day before MH incident, an Avianca Columbia flight encountered severe turbulence. http://avherald.com/h?article=49957e55&opt=0

May they recover soon.
