Subang (WMSA/SZB) 2016

Recommended Posts

I header some C-17 will be arriving in Subang? Is this true

Yes, and all because of this:

http://www.pacom.mil/Media/News/News-Article-View/article/837219/cope-taufan-16-kicks-off-in-malaysia/

But I have not seen any USAF aircraft out in the wild at SZB yet...

Saw a C-17 flew over Damansara Utama/Uptown/SS21 at about 2.20pm on last Friday 22nd

Just to share some photos from last Friday evening while waiting for Suasa Airlines.

Not a good day to be around since TSRA and flooding after that around the areas.

Tanker coming back in the rain

Followed by C17. Both arrivals after 5:00PM+

Main catch is finally out after more than 2 hours delay thanks to the heavy rain earlier.

I prefer the pinky shades than the previous colors. All the best to Suasa Airlines !

Some of SZB recent traffic.

Surprised to see her operating a daytime flight to Hong Kong. Maybe it was a delay.

The Red Arrows left Malaysia on 20 October, heading to China via Thailand and Vietnam.

When the RAF Red Arrows Aerobatic Team goes on tour, it takes a lot to support the 12 British Aerospace Hawk T1As. In addition to the 24 hour support from their homebase in RAF Scampton in the UK, two RAF Hercules C-130J travels with them to provide on site support.

Saw the tail with a Red Flag with some Big star & small star :acute:

Sorry that I have misquoted, it should be One big star with a few small stars and with a red background.

Sounds like the PLAAF IL-76s... Three reported to be sighted - it was the same last week. Looks like they are here on exercise or something....

Does it look like this?

Was first greeted by this Falcon VT-HGL. Departed about 30mins later. Probably dropping off someone or a tech stop for refuel?

Gentlemen, would it be possible to get a fresh update on the storage situation at Subang and KUL please, with pics if poss? Most of the old 727s, 737s, 747s haven't been noted for some time. I'm personally looking for fresh info on Nepture Air B722 9M-NEP which hasn't been seen for a long time but was offered for sale on a site in 2013. Are the Transmiles/Rayas still all sitting derelict or now scrapped? Last info I have was that 2 of the Raya 722s were still active for that's old news now and I expect they've been withdrawn now?

So many spotters around Subang but this thread rarely sees any updates :( .
