Saw Malindo recruitmemt ad today in newpapers, looking for cockpit crew, flight dispatcher for ATR fleet to be based in Sabah...something is happening??

Sorry for hijacking but on the note of flight dispatchers, does anyone know where one can do their flight dispatcher course in Malaysia? I only know of APFT and Aviation Management College.Malaysia.

I thought they already put the ad on for atr crews to be based in sabah long time ago. And nothing came off it since. But ATR ops in Sabah and Sarawak will be a bit of a challenge. Dont think maswings will last if its not for the subsidy.

Malaysia Airlines do conduct courses for staff and outsiders.

dont know if this is seasonal problem during peak travel period but both my inbound and outbound flight to HKT had been delayed almost 1 hour and unlike my previous flight ex SZB, there's no sms or email notification given about the delays.

On friday my flight from SIN-KUL was delayed for 4 hours and no explanation was given. Received an alert when I was 5 mins from Changi and then it was delayed several times after that. Anyone have any idea why?

OD seem to be doing well into PER of recent, last week on Tues, Wed and Thurs OD151/152 was upgraded to a B739 due to 'loads'.

All the 3 EDTO B739's visited -LNH, J and L.

Yesterday (Friday) old mate -LNV was back as usual.

Hopefully the upgrades are a sign of things to come.

I didn't check the loadings on the mention days info came via an OD agent here.

That said, I'm led to believe the B738's operate payload restricted to PER and the middle seats aren't allocated at check-in.

Sadly only the 900's are wifi equipped

they only have about 6 of them as well. I think its misleading to advertise the service with so few aircraft

Have found out the -900's are operating to PER on an adhoc basis due to payload limitations on the -800's when loads are high when summer temperatures are forecast to be hot.

OD151/152 today and yesterday has been operated by -LNH.

Sadly only the 900's are wifi equipped

But only 3 are equipped with overhead life rafts.
