Interesting topic. I wonder exactly how much she wants to have it settled for something like turbulence that caused injury literally could happen on any airlines. Just back luck, my 2nd cent.

Ms Crocker suffered multiple joint fractures, a ligament tear and a deep vein thrombosis, and was forced to take time off work.

That injury looks bad. But then the news article reported that she fell to the floor and then the stewardess toppled on her right foot. Was the nurse had her seat belts on? Or was she stood up (perhaps going to lavatory) by the time the turbulence occured?

I feel sorry for her, but in order for her to win damages, she'll need to prove negligence on D7's part. So let's see what the full facts are.
