Mohd Suhaimi Fariz 2 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) The American sectors for the "round the world" jaunt uses the registration as a callsign, whereas London-Dubai-Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur uses NR1 as a callsign based on FR24 records. Does this mean that the plane was ferried empty to London? And are we really certain it is Rosmah that's onboard on a shopping trip? The stops in London & Dubai have short turnarounds that I can't seriously foresee anybody getting off to go to Oxford Street, shop to their hearts content & and get back to the plane in the amount of time it had on ground. You can't, but they can drop the pax. off at each stop and then fly home empty, depending how many and how much pax they carried. Nobody will believe they fly home empty via the longer way, that will be working against the economics! After all, it seems there is a lack of transparency. Normally in the West, they will be publicized by the media and will be required to answer them in the public. Probably not the case for a country with not much of press freedom. I certainly don't doubt that the plane didn't fly home empty, although I can't say for certain that it flew with passengers from America. As for lack of transparency - it's a typical Malaysian trait practiced by both side. Sad, but true. Edited January 5, 2015 by Mohd Suhaimi Fariz

"highly speculative content" Rosmah does not need to do the shopping, she can hire someone to do it for her (personal shopper), and just get them off during the short stopovers. Furthermore, New York, London, Dubai, and Bangkok are incidentally known for its vast duty free selections for high end tastes. Shopping can still happen. Despite the denial of PMO, the plane was certainly around the world - for what reason - it remains a mystery.

We do know part of the reason, at least for the Indianapolis stop... Edited January 5, 2015 by Mohd Suhaimi Fariz
