Today, on the 22nd of August, 2014, we mourn the loss of the lives on board MH17, which was shot down on the 17th of July, 2014.

This MASKargo aircraft, bearing the registration 9M-MPS, bears the titles Malaysia Airlines on it, instead of MASKargo.

She landed in KUL at 0955LT, 22-08-2014

Thanks for sharing the photos here.

May I have your permission to save some of the photos just for the keepsake? Couldn't find the photo of the aircraft with the revised title on a.net.

Very sad occasion, but excellent coverage chaps!

Just realized - no use of reverse thrust on landing? Smooth gentle braking as part of a broader respect for the departed souls or operational requirement?

Maybe a light plane so no need reverse thrust ?
