Hope the loads pick up again, my colleague just booked with MH and some customers I spoke to were offered to cancel their flights by MH earlier and they decided to stick with them. Some Australians still trust to fly with MH but hope the photos don't reflect the loads on all routes...

Many people in the west believe disaster/bad luck come in three. May be mh should break a plate/glass to dispel jinx.

Today, second batch of MH17 victims were flown home using the very same airplane type and schedule (albeit different flight number) they were on 38 days ago. Today's MH19 passengers disembarked with all cargos out except the 3 victims. Then the plane was moved to Bunga Raya complex for the sombre ceremony.

As of today, a total of 24 bodies have been brought back. 20 on Friday, 1 on Saturday (no ceremony, family request) and 3 on Sunday (1 did not go through the official ceremony)

More to come soon.

Names will be released by official once permitted by the authority. *sealing my lips tightly*

I saw astro awani online- I see they use the triple 7. I wonder if that's a special charter flight or normal flight from AMS?

It's really sad on how Australian "media" portraying MH right now.

the Australian media (of course not all of them) like to sensationalize things....and getting MH twin disaster is just another thing for them to write/show/broadcast non stop about...

This is really not good.... sigh... some media just making sensational report without verifying the source.

Was the picture taken in LHR or KUL? I thought MH didn't serve alcohol on the ground, due to having to pay more fees. It looks they had champagne some sort in that glass. Unless it was only apple juice :drinks:

Maybe they (some of the Aussie media) can now focus on QF and it's very own restructuring and downsizing plans :)

In fact, Catherine Chin Wan Ping Coombes said the picture showing her family of three with glasses of champagne on board was taken before passengers boarded.

I couldn't read it without paying. I was referring to this TR http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2013/03/28/oneworld-welcome-malaysia-airlines-first-class-london-to-kuala-lumpur/

According to author, MH only served non-alcoholic drinks on the ground in First at LHR. I think it has to do with MH was/is too cheap to pay the extra fees associated with serving alcohol pre-takeoff.

I wonder if her picture was taken in KUL, not LHR.

Believe alcohols for airport lounge and aircraft is supplied from bonded store i.e tax free. If tax free alcohol could be consumed at airport lounge, why not aircraft on the ground? :sorry: More likely mh is penny pinching.
