CX transit more than12 hours, will I be able to get free transit hotel?

Hi everyone,

I have recently just book flight with CX to LHR and I need to transit in HKG for more than 12 hours?

Was wondering if I can get free transit hotel from CX?

I am not sure what to do?

Others can correct me if I'm wrong but if you yourself booked a flight that was going to have a transit time of 12 hours, they will not compensate you with anything. After all, you were the one who chose so.

 

The only way that they will compensate you is if CX themselves were at fault for causing you a delay.

You should just hop onto the Airport Express and stay at any of the downtown hotels. Might as well do some sightseeing in Hong Kong.
