Waiping 12 Report post Posted March 18, 2016 While the B747 gets a new lease of life, the B777 won't get the same treatment, right? They are all retired.

Last six are all being prepared for return to lessors. Just a matter of time MH B777 leaves Malaysia soil for good. BTW, Delta Airlines bought one for spares. Three owned B772ER are: 9M-MRA, 9M-MRE, 9M-MRP, 9M-MRQ. All should be still sitting around KLIA.

JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2016 It would be good if this retro livery becomes a standard for MAB rebranding. The world has seen so many hideous, lack of creativity, messy, ugly livery of late. SQ and Air China cheatline livery are timeless. I hope they don't change it till end of the world. For SQ, yes, I agreed. But for CA, I hope they change their "Aeroflop" inspired CCCP-era blue cheatline to something similar their "cloud" special livery. Khalil Abd Halim 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2016 is this an indication that it will revert to its former name Malaysian Airline system or simply "Malaysian"?
flee 5 Report post Posted March 20, 2016 is this an indication that it will revert to its former name Malaysian Airline system or simply "Malaysian"? 9M-MXA had "Malaysian Airline System", although it is not 100% authentic. I guess 9M-MPP will use the "Malaysian" version of the livery. Whether it remains true to the original design, we will have to wait and see.
