Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted June 27, 2014 Is it related to the rumoured MH takeover by Etihad? Â A management convoy to AUH to finalise the deal?
kandiah k 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2014 Is it related to the rumoured MH takeover by Etihad? Â A management convoy to AUH to finalise the deal? Â Haha if that is true indeed, why can't they just take Etihad as I'm sure EY will sponsor some seats rather than take the entire B744 to AUH. Oh well!!! Timothy 1 Report post Posted July 19, 2014 9M-MPP flew to Kiev, Ukraine as MH5002 carrying Malaysian officials. Â Saw her last week parked at KLIA remote stand, near the Tigerair Mandala Airbuses. Â Looked in need of a repainting since one could make out the "lines" where different fuselage components joined up.
leon t 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2014 This 744 badly needs a good wash and scrub as its very dirty esp at the tail end. In fact MAS have a few 738s and 777s and even A330s in need of a good wash. Why cant MAS even keep its planes clean - as from the outside a dirty plane somehow conjures a image of nelgected maintenance too.

Many airlines know that a clean aircraft is also a more aerodynamically efficient aircraft as dust particles on the surface of the aircraft can cause unnecessary drag. That is why we do not see many dirty Airasia aircraft.  Look at this all white JAL B787 - its so clean!
Johan Z 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2014 Obviously, Air France planes are immune to drag caused by dust.
Waiping 12 Report post Posted July 28, 2014 There is a severe draught coming so a wash may have to defer, again.

flee 5 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Well, it would be a very good move if MH reactivated its B744s and try to fix the wings of all the A380s before oil prices go up again!
