Spotted from yesterday

One of the few AK specials that rarely flew to BKI

DSC_1038_zps74f85d9a.jpg

And today with Waiping onboard

DSC_1205_zps73d932d2.jpg

Possibly Jumbo of the week from KUL replacing the usual Airbus A330-200F.

DSC_1277_zpsef6706ae.jpg

After the jumbo arrival there was some traffic hectic for today with 5-8 planes in holding. 02/20 approaches are conducted while departure is primarily 20. Also spotted a Learjet calibrator going down low for fly by a few times. (Possible ILS?)

Queen of the sky also opt for 20 departure

Quick rotation and flying towards Kuching

Finally Challenger around terminal 2

Great catch Jahur! Today quite a few interesting happening at BKI/WBKK, apart from the dual-active runway. The CL60, and also there was a really small jet zooming overhead when I was at the Kepayan Flyover. Plus this morning both MXA and MXC were around. MXC just departed.

Yup noticed planes were on hold pattern prior to landing at Runway 20 during my lunch break. Didn't notice it was dual active runway though. Bit usual? I wonder what's the reason behind it.

Hope it's a heavy rain soon with those dark clouds coming over...

Good shots Michael.

Planes inbound to WBKK on hold pattern again. More calibration? Can't see any small jet around. Having a listen now.

Terminal 2 WBKK was running without electricity supply since the wee morning up to 5pm when i finish work there's still no current. Most office on nearby Hangar are on gen set. However i feel sorry for the pax utilizing the LCCT. Arrival hall flight information display LCD was not working, Limited lights, No air conditioning and even the fast food stalls were closed.

Oh gosh. What a shameful incident. Surprised I didn't read about it in the news today. Surely the pembangkang will make noise? MAHB really have to improve their airport management, how could an airport terminal gone into power cut for so long?!

Office still running on Gen set. Save to assume T2 LCCT is still running on limited power lol.

MAHB will say, move to T1 lah - T2 is condemned already! ;)

Not sure about today and yesterday but on the 22/4 morning KKIA T1 also no power. Power cut is an inherent part of

Sabah culture. If got power 24/7 365 days a year for sure it is not Sabah.

Hi all, any chance anyone has an idea when MasWings will get the next AT76? It's been a while since MasWings took delivery of the first AT76...
