The delivery flight of this Twin Otter is taking some time with various delays enroute. On the 26th May it had only just reached Magadan-Sokhol in Russia. So still some way to go before arriving in Kota Kinabalu.

Just curious. Why does it take so long for the second ATR to arrive apart from the first one?

Has anyone seen or heard anything on Airasia X's 9M-XXR?

It went to SIN for cabin reconfiguration in March and till now, I have not seen it emerge. Someone spotted it in Perth but I am not sure exactly when was that.

Non-stop TPE-BKI? It is about 3:30 on B738 at about M 0.78. Wonder how long it will take on the DHC-6 and the route taken.

TPE-BKI is just under 1200 nm. Maximum zero payload range is quoted as 799 nm, so definately ferry tank/s required with at least 600 kg of extra fuel plus reserves. For an earlier delivery the TPE-BKI leg is quoted as taking just over 8 hours.

The full route was as follows:

YYJ-ANC 1175 nm 10th May

ANC-DYR 899 nm 18th May

DYR-GDX 803 nm 26th May

GDX-KHV 871 nm 27th May

KHV-GMP 754 nm 28th May

GMP-TPE 799 nm 29th May

TPE-BKI 1182 nm 1st June

Total: 6483 nm
