flee 5 Report post Posted May 17, 2014 Yes, Jalan Pekeliling is reopened and newly resurfaced. It also leads to the new runway 33 and klia2. Beware of fast moving vehicles, though.

Thanks for sharing, Victor! And he says traffic was as 'usual'... Thanks S M Tang...traffic was as 'usual' except for the sudden appearance of the Russian... Victor, you should come back KUL often to attract all the specials for us. Maybe I'll come to KUL again soon...3 years later soon... To continue some from Saturday (24/05/214) session... The last time I saw this fella, she was wearing a different color 'dress'... The last time I saw her, she was still wearing MH uniform... Sunday (25/05/2014)... This would be my first ever catch of a B747-8... Used to catch Lufthansa coming to KUL with their B744...now, much slimmer equipment... Thats about it for 2 days of marathon... flee 5 Report post Posted May 27, 2014 Good catches Victor! That Russian B757 was a great catch! I think the winglets look a bit different from those supplied by AP - a bit smaller. MH5473 has been used for MH delivery flights since 9M-MXA, maybe earlier too!

flee 5 Report post Posted June 5, 2014 With klia2 operations now starting to settle down a bit more, we are seeing more klia2 bound arrivals on Runway 32L. Here we see Airasia X's latest leased A333 from ILFC, 9M-XXQ: Emirates catching World Cup fever already: And China Airlines sent one of her own specials too:

Chaity 1 Report post Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) 22 Nov 2014 was a busy day for spotters in KUL. Quite a number of spotters from Japan & Hong Kong were here. Good morning sun to welcome part of the spotters in this photo. The main target for most of the spotters was IR 747SP but 747-200 turned up. Perhaps the last flying 747SP is busy preparing for the final special flight in Teheran on 23 Nov 2014. We still enjoyed the company and 32L departure added some fun too. I am sure most of the spotters wanted to swap the place with the guy in the photo Other spotters do add more photos here as our forum is getting very slow nowadays. Chaity 1 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 Good to see more photos here despite the year end rainy seasons. RJ is sending their B787 since Oct 2014. Late evening arrival is always a challenge to get a decent shot. At least the last ray of light still available when she passes by
