KS Ong 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 New Year welcoming the living classic; the last DC10 pax to KUL. Her days are numbered till end January 'tentatively'. Every Wednesday, Friday (eta 1500) and Saturday (eta 1755). Catch her while you still can before she is gone for good.
SS Lee 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Great shot. Good that we can still see this classic for a few more weeks to come. Hope to get a trip down sometime this month, then maybe might have that chance to snap. I wonder as to whether their sales for this sector had increased these past few months, with the addition of people flocking in to get their last chance to fly in the DC10 perhaps ? Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Haven't been spotting at 32L for a few years due to the closure of the spot. Hopefully I can find some time this year to spot again. A few photos from New Year's day. Catching up with the DC-10 one last time. Malaysian dugong from London. Middle Eastern dugong. The spot is still fantastic. I'll be back. Tom/PER 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 Great shots. Love the one of -AHG, I'm guessing another special scheme for AK. It had been out of action for sometime so a heavy check and repaint explain it's absence.
SS Lee 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 AirAsia's Ninetology just operated into Penang yesterday. With the wavy cheatline ending below the nose, viewed head on, it somehow passed my eyes as Hong Kong Airlines' 320 at a first glance. Those winglets on the 767 are humongous !! Almost twice the height of the cabin doors
Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 Hello guys, How to get to this spot? Is it accesible to the public? It is accessible again since late last year, but you'll need to drive there.

flee 5 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Thanks for sharing, Chaity - the Iraqi livery is very nice and shows how a predominantly white livery can still look great. Saudia seems to be leasing aircraft from everywhere and using different white liveries for them - makes it interesting for plane spotters!
Junichi Suzuki 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Long time no chat, all MWings members! I always check this forum though, KUL movement is always awesome for me!
