flee 5 Report post Posted May 5, 2014 Hi guys, its time to propose for a gathering for all of us to celebrate Malaysianwings 9th anniversary. Date will be the last saturday of June which fall on the 28th. What a busy past two weeks for Malaysian Wings members it has been - Air Force One was in town, the MH370 SAR aircraft returning from Perth, new liveries on civil aircraft, etc. etc. We also had honoured guest spotters visiting from Hong Kong, Indonesia and Japan. It was a wonderful time to see so many new and old faces at our airports again. We are now close to our anniversary and this year, it will be held at KUL. The anniversary will be quite special. With klia2 open, we can explore some different possibilities. Please put your name down on our attendance list below Hope to see you all again soon! flee

Keith spotting tiny insects or ants Ah Ong rather take a nap on the quiet Pekeliling Road New function for Keith's umbrella to act as an extended radar for Flightradar24 For those with other photos do share them here. flee 5 Report post Posted July 12, 2014 28 June 2014, a new day begins at KLIA - it is Malaysian Wings' Ninth Anniversary. The weather was hazy - on my way there I saw the Bomba set up camp along the Elite Highway to fight the peat fire. With landings split between runway 14L and 15, traffic was very slow at where we were - runway 14L. So we had to keep our shutter fingers warmed up by shooting alternative traffic. Meanwhile, back at the klia2 grounds, our Vietnamese spotters were checking out the cracked drains... But their real target are some these red planes After lunch, we headed down towards the Reds' HQ. KS decided to test the track temperature with the rest of us playing paparazzi... The haze got progressively worse and the light was fading. So Hon Kit decided to "test" my camera/lens and zoomed in on the countryside. With meaningful shooting curtailed by the haze and bad light, we waited for Captain Radzi's flight to arrive before calling it a day... Happy 9th Anniversary Malaysian Wings! Looking forward to the 10th on 27 June 2015!
