Norman 1 Report post Posted April 30, 2008 and ..... ????? more details please Norman Cheers Greg Hahaha... nothing, Greg... They went down to the beach checking out people fishing.. BTW... Nai Yang Beach Spotting location requires a short (about 500m) strolling on the sand (or a paved walkway under the trees...) Shot from the location where you can park your car nearest to the spot Was hoping for Rwy 09 active for Princess Juliana, St Maarten-style approach... but it wasn't... & note the stacked paving block towards the bottom of pix, that's my step to shoot over the fence TK.... Paradise sun was shy that day... and here's the night-stop for your amphibians... --
TK 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2008 i knew they would pay you a visit... I forgot to mention to you about the Blue patrol car... well Norman... you can start with this November, before the peak period for another paradise spotting, Hotel may still be Ok...not too crowded, and definitely 09 in use. Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 wow wee...MD-11 to HKT...thanks CB I feel the given schedule is not really clear, here again: 11/dec/08 AY2971 HEL-HKT arriving 12/dec/08 12.35 OH-LGA 12/dec/08 AY2972 HKT-HEL departing 15.25 OH-LGA 26/dec/08 AY2971 HEL-HKT arriving 27/dec/08 12.35 OH-LGA 27/dec/08 AY2972 HKT-HEL departing 15.25 OH-LGA 07/jan/09 AY2971 HEL-HKT arriving 08/jan/09 12.35 OH-LGB (Moomins) 08/jan/09 AY2972 HKT-HEL departing 15.25 OH-LGB (Moomins)
Jesse Heiskanen 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 07/jan/09 AY2971 HEL-HKT arriving 08/jan/09 12.35 OH-LGB (Moomins) 08/jan/09 AY2972 HKT-HEL departing 15.25 OH-LGB (Moomins) Actually, I think -LGB doesn't have the Moomin-stickers anymore.. I guess it's in the normal Finnair scheme at the moment unless they have added the traditional Santa-stickers. Jesse EFHK/HEL And actually a Finnair MD11 visited HKT today, but should be on it's way back to HEL by now..

Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2009 Only 3 pics from my day at HKT. They were operating RWY 9 so I could enjoy myself a small St Maarten but got send away by security when I was taking out my camera, didnt even made one single shot from there They've probably seen me moving down to the runway. Seen from terminal, approach of Finnair Leisure from Helsinki (Operated by Air Europa). They operate 6 days a week to HKT. Still 1 month more to go, then this A332 is going to fly HEL-JFK-HEL flights, replacing another MD11 (LGE ) Boarding HS-TJA B772 onway back to BKK
