Chartered flight KUL-BKI

Recommended Posts

Tony is a friend of BN. Imagine the things that could go wrong if he is not a friend of the BN!

This is really frustrating though. I bet these people don't even need to carry their passport along

There are photos circulating of Jabatan Imigresen vans escorting the airport bound coaches :D

And I saw a huge white tent like structure suddenly popped up alongside MasKargo hangar (in front of T1) at BKI - exclusive check in facility ? :)

Well, Tony is running a commercial entity. If someone is paying him good money to charter is aircraft, and if he can spare them, why not?

I bet no one is gonna question anything if they send some chartered aircraft to Singapore to pick up Malaysians.

But, will they really?? Any ad hoc charter flights without the public knowledge is suspicious anyway.

I went to "sibuk" (check-out) a bit at KKIA yesterday while on the way to work and there were quite a lot of buses (+-40 passengers type) waiting at the arrival hall. Most if not all of them from Dyana (KK people may know this company as one of the express bus company here). However, no political party flag or t-shirt or cap were seen although the drivers/personnel all don uniform (orange I think). The last time I saw this was during the Amway convention when 3 x B747 & 1 x B777 were chartered then.

I didn't check on the tent as reported by BC, though.

I have a friend, who works for MH, left hand seat, driving 738.

He was in BKI yesterday, preparing his 738 for the next flight. When he was doing the preparation, he saw a 744 beside his plane.
This 744's communication cannot be heard by anyone as it was believed that the plane was using different radio frequency. He only saw the 744 being pushed back, and took off from the runway without listening to any communication between the 744 and the radio controller (*mind my complicated technical misunderstanding, I am not a technical person)

Any reason for not using the normal frequency? Any technical expert who can explain this?

Whoa! This is like JANET flights (though I don't know whether the real JANET flights use different frequency from the rest of air traffic).

Latest update regarding AirAsia's chartered flights:

Sources indicate that no banglas were on our flights today, just local Sabahans (not just adults, including children) being ferried from JHB to BKI. The flight was only about 2/3 full. The return sector BKI-JHB was empty.

This seems to corroborate allegations that some East Malaysians were offered free flights back home to vote provided they vote for you-know-who. The allegations I read mentioned that they were offered free flights together with their entire family, which would explain the children.

This would be strange since one would expect them to bring phantom voters OUT OF Sabah, their fixed deposit, INTO Johor which looks shaky for them at the moment.

I think I read same news on Malaysiakini that correspond to the allegation. IIRC AK/FY only mounted 1 extra flight per day (JHB - BKI and KUL - TWU I think) while MH 5 - 6 flights using B747 and A333. In fact both MPM and MPP are at KKIA as of now - 2300LT. Some passengers didn't know who sponsor the flight and neither were they being asked to vote for any particular party. Some even speculated that our "caretaker" PM sponsor those flight himself, although I doubt it. Among the items in the goodie bag was a T-shirt with his face. Someone I know also posted that the flight back to KUL this afternoon operated by MPP was empty. He didn't notice any big group of passengers board the plane.

What's with the special frequency being used? I don't have a radio so not able to tap into the conversation. Still it is possible that this may be a cover for something else. Tomorrow same thing in the morning again so maybe some spotters would like to try and check out these flights.

Latest update from friends, the flights are mostly ferrying people to Borneo side, coming back mostly empty.

baru balik dari chartered flight pergi kuching and back.

rumusan :

-pergi bawak penumpang org2 sarawak. orang2 malaysia. ada yg bawak anak2. memang nak balik ngundi.
tak nampak muka2 warga asing. tak seperti yg digembar gemburkan.

-ditanya oleh salah seorang anak kapal kepada salah sorang penumpang, dia kata penerbangan ditanggung oleh kerajaan.

-penerbangan dari kuching ke klia, tiada penumpang. hanya anak-anak kapal saja.

sekian.

Another friend reporting about the same with a flight to TWU.

Even the now unravelled MH-AK share swap deal could not produce this sort of collaboration :D

Surely this GE13 is something else, luar biasa
