Thanks Michael,

Here is my shot of B-LAB taken on 1/8/2013. So this might be her first flight in KA color?

Looks like they did not repaint the engine cowlings - they just added the Dragonair logo. Even that is unusual as the normal livery just has plain white engine cowlings.

@Samuel Wong: regarding the first pic of V8-BLC, you shot that pic at Bukit Vor area? :-)

Bki radar defunct? Many delayed flights and I was stuck in the aircraft at gate for nearly 2 hours.

B772 9M-MRC currently at BKI (arrived from KUL as MAS7113), not sure where will be her next destination. Schedule to depart back to KUL tomorrow night at 9pm. Specially thanks to Samuel Wong for the info!

Pardon the ignorance, but is it possible to differentiate between the ATR72 -500s and -600s from a spotter's perspective ?

(yes, the registration would be a definitive giveaway, apart from that ?)

Thanks ! :)

Between a 500 and 600 series there are no external differences. The big changes are the flightdeck and a newer version of the PW127.

The only way to tell other than rego, is to look at the top of the fin (it says 600 instead of 500)

I saw 9M-MYA in FR24 for the first time. Regarding the ATR72 - 500s and -600s difference, I think the latter sports a rather 'Zorro' style cockpit windows.
